B. Braun plans to invest some €1.4bn over the next three years, approximately half of which will be in Germany. For example, a medical production facility and logistics center will be added to the Pfieffewiesen plant in Melsungen. Furthermore, a new infusion pump production facility is scheduled to be opened in Melsungen. In Tuttlingen, a new logistics center is being built and the Benchmark Factory expanded for the production of knee and hip endoprostheses. Planned investments also include the expansion of the existing dialyzer and hollow fiber membrane production facilities, potentially creating up to 100 new jobs in Radeberg and Berggießhübel (both in Saxony).

Outside Germany, there are plans to expand production facilities for infusion solutions and accessories in the US state of Pennsylvania which will result in some 300 new jobs. A new infusion solutions production facility is also planned for Spain. In Vietnam a new medical production facility will be built near Hanoi.
